Caroline Jenkins – DIP. R.B.S T.T.C. ARAD. A.I.S.T.D. BENESH INT. RAD RTS
Caroline Jenkins began her dance training in Worthing with Jean Butterworth, and then continued at the Bush Davis School and The Royal Ballet School, graduating from the Teachers’ Training Course in 1979.
After joining the Ballet Royal De Wallonie in Belgium, Caroline was promoted to Soloist Principal in 1985. The company toured extensively in Europe, Cuba and the Far East.
Caroline joined The Queensland Ballet Company in Australia in 1987 and whilst there taught at The Brisbane Dance School of Excellence and The Brisbane Dance Center.
After returning to London in 1991, she taught professional ballet open classes at Dance Attic and taught RAD at the Urdang Academy and Character at The Royal Ballet School before taking over The Jean Butterworth School of Dancing in Worthing.
Caroline also teaches Classical, Character, Free Movement and Repertoire at RAD Summer Schools and Easter Schools in the UK and internationally. Caroline aims to instil in her pupils a passion for dance whilst striving for excellence.
Caroline is married to former dancer Sean O’Brien, with three children.
Michelle Walkhouse – FISTD.
Michelle trained at Bush Davies and Elmhurst Ballet School before performing full time as a dancer with various companies, such as Princess Cruises and Le Lido de Paris.
She completed her teacher training at The Edmonton School of Ballet in Canada and currently enjoys teaching Modern to the students at JBS Dance.

Rosa Grispino DDE
Rosa trained at the Jean Butterworth School of Dancing from the age of 2 – 16. She then went on to further her training at Bird College of Performing Arts for a further 3 years, where she graduated with Distinction for her National Diplomas.
At the age of 20 Rosa was given the chance to return to JBS Dance to teach and help others develop their skills.
Modern & Musical Theatre
Molly Assig DDI, AISTD
Molly was a Jean Butterworth girl and furthered her training at Bird College graduating with a Diploma in Dance and Theatre. Her first professional job was in Portugal for 6 months to perform in ‘Tempo’ at the Casino Estoril. From there Molly went on to dance in shows at ‘Casino de la Vallee’ in Italy, ‘Cabaret’ at the Mermaid Theatre, London ‘Imagination’ in Kos, Greece and ‘Fruta Cores’ at Casino Estoril, Portugal. In 2006 -2007 Molly moved to Paris for a year to perform at ‘The Lido’ a world famous Cabaret Show on the Champs Elysees as a Bluebell girl. Molly then was chosen to tour with the company around the world. Molly’s most recent job was in Portugal performing in various casinos in the Algarve in ‘Calendar Girls’ for Belinda King productions.
Molly has now returned to JBS Dance to share her talents and professional experiences with the students.
